great experience for kayak newbees

点评：we did 2 days introductory course for Kajak with LaCanoa Kreuzlingen. There was a good selection of kayaks in the group and we could try out different makes of kayaks. Good experience in a nice environment. The lake was smooth, with little wind, and nearly no current except for Konstanz, where we could train some backflow and a current going under the bridge. After the 2 days, we rented two kayaks at LaCanoa Kreuzlingen (at the youth hostel) for a trip down the Rhine River to Schaffhausen. The kayaks for rent are very stable "workhorses" - which helped us when the wind picked up and we had to face some waves. Down the river was easygoing and at the finish line at Schaffhausen (Lanwiesen) you will find a blue sign at the shore where you exit and return your kayak - if you did a one-way trip, as we can only recommend.
