Afro Asian Travel的点评
点评：The Cairo St Regis helped set up our tours with Afro Asia Travel and they were excellent! A rep met us at the airport and helped guide us through customs and with our baggage. Each day they would meet us with a big van, the driver and the tour guide. They purchased (included) all our tickets to the museums, temples, etc, and it made for a seamless, easy experience. Their tour guides were incredibly knowledgeable and nice and spoke English very well. A couple of days we had open they even added more tours/sites without charging us extra!
Our lead AA rep was Khaled...a young and astute gentleman that helped us from the start and all the Cairo airport trips. He also took us through the Khaleil market on his own, helping us purchase some gifts for our family, and guiding us to a local restaurant that a friend had recommended (and waiting there while we ate!). He was ALWAYS on time and very helpful. We give him 5 Stars for service! Another AA rep (Omar?) in Luxor/Aswan was tardy a couple of times and unapologetic, but still friendly.
Hussam was our tour guide in Luxor, Aswan and Abu Simbel. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. We had Dina as our guide back in Cairo for our final 2 days of touring and she was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and spoke English very well! She was also very helpful in trying to find silver jewelry for me from a reputable store.
AA also gave us some nice gifts upon arrival and I later realized that one of them was a silver pendant with both our names in hieroglyphics...what a nice memento! And as I mentioned, twice we requested additional tours and AA accommodated us without charging us extra. One was the nighttime pyramids/sphinx show (which I would NOT recommend...boring and outdated). We were VERY pleased with Afro Asia's service and would highly recommend them!
