点评：As ACCOR members we decided to stay for along weekend as a base to enjoy the food and wine of the Mornington Peninsula. Like Oscar Wilde this review is no reflection of the putting greens and sand traps that no doubt makes for conversation at the 19th. I don’t get gol
We booked an Open Room and it was fine. It was certainly large enough for the two of us but felt a little tired even though it was supposedly refurbished. We had a room up stairs which was fine but you will need to carry your luggage as there are no lifts.
We had to drive to the restaurant from our room though in warmer months you could probably walk. Pebbles restaurant is the more formal dining option at the resort which we sampled. The food has a Korean/Japanese influence which we found a little weird and not to our taste. Personally we found the usual sweetness of the lamb to be overpowered by the soy/mirin sauce and Kimchi. The BBQ brisket was also not that great and for me the similar flavours as with the lamb just did not work.
We had dinner the second night at the bar which was OK though not thrilling. Pizza, chips and rather tasteless spring rolls what we selected and what can you say.
As a base to explore the region it works well. If you are a golfer knock yourself out as it likely ticks most of your boxes. If it were not being ACCOR members probably not a place we would consider.
