Dewar’s Aberfeldy Distillery的点评
点评：We decided last minute to book a distillery tour at DeWar's Aberfeldy Distillery.
Upon arrival, we received a warm welcome and explored the shop before our tour began. The tour started in the auditorium with an introductory film. Initially, my husband thought we'd made a mistake, but the film and subsequent museum visit proved him wrong. The museum offered fascinating insights into the family's history and their distillery. I’d suggest a small tweak by adding an audio tour to enhance the experience.
Our tour guide, Craig, was fantastic, walking us through the whisky crafting process. Despite having driver's tickets, we were encouraged to engage with the samples, noticing the subtle scent differences. Post the tasting session (for those that were drinking), we bottled our samples to taste later and returned to the shop to buy a bottle and a water dropper. It was fascinating to see how a drop of water altered the whisky's taste.
Craig, though new, was incredibly knowledgeable and ensured everyone, including non-whisky drinkers, enjoyed the tour.
We highly recommend visiting DeWar's Aberfeldy Distillery and look forward to returning next time we are in Scotland.
