No consideration given to long standing loyal berth holders

点评：As a loyal, always promptly paid-up birth-holder at MDL Torquay since 2017 (except for a short break at Lymington) and having reached the 76 years old and not fit enough to sail safely I decided to put my yacht on the market.As I didn’t know how quickly it might sell I didn’t take up MDL’s cancellation of Contract offer in January for £1927.73. As it happened my lovely yacht sold quickly. I carried on paying for three months £1566.42 for a birth I wasn’t using and which I found was occupied by another vessel anyway.
I approached MDL and suggested as a gesture of gratitude and good will for my years of loyalty they should write off the remaining three months of my Contract specially as they were receiving income from ‘my’ berth anyway. But oh no: they consistently quote their Terms and Conditions. I am not disputing the Ts & Cs but suggesting that even for a big group like MDL gestures of appreciation and good will would be beneficial to the good name of the Company and avoid posts such as this.
