Unique and excellent guided tour to see Sea Lions in the wild

点评：The guided walking tour of Seal Bay Conservation Park was the absolute highlight of our visit to Kangaroo Islan!
Our expert guide took us for a walk along the sealed path through sand dunes where Australian Sea Lions spend their time when not out fishing for food. It was mating and breeding season so there were a lot of sea lion pups just hanging around waiting form their mums to return from the sea. They were absolutely adorable, playing and acting like dog puppies. We also saw a large bull seal lion, and a mother seal lion looking for her pup.
All of them were right on the walking path. The guide was very respectful of the animals and we had to keep our distance. We couldn’t walk past the mum looking for her pup because they can be defensive of their babies. So we didn’t go as far into the park as the usual tour but we still had a fabulous time watching the beautiful sea lions and learning about them. 🦭
Make this your top priority when you visit the island. Also nearby, I highly recommend the Raptor Domain and the adjoining Kangaroo Island Wildlife Park.
