If you want to ride at White Clay Creek State Park, you need to rent a bike at Wooden Wheels

点评：Can't say enough good things about the service and genuine hospitality at Wooden Wheels bike shop. I've been to shops that went the extra mile before, but Rob and Chris at Wooden Wheels went waaaay above and beyond to make my demo experience enjoyable and completely hassle-free. Communication was outstanding, service was prompt and thorough, and the Turbo Levo Gen 4 was an awesome ride.
And most notably...I was visiting from out of town and was made to feel completely welcome and taken care of -- I can't even image how awesome they are with their regular customers. This is normally where I would say, "Highly recommend visiting this shop when you have a chance," but in this case I think shouting is warranted: "DEFINITELY go to Newark, Delaware for some amazing trails, and DEFINITELY visit Wooden Wheels when you do!"
One suggestion: Rename the shop "Wooden Wheels Service, Repair...and Visitors Center"...Chris and Rob had excellent route suggestions, restaurant recommendations, and especially coffee spots (Little Goat, only a few minutes from the shop). They have it all covered!
PS...As for the trails, White Clay Creek (and Fairhill, etc) feels like it's becoming a mountain bike destination - tons of riding choices, good food, and good beer. Definitely worth adding to your bucket list.
