Suspension of School's accreditation with IKO since May 2023 - Misleading and Deceptive Conduct

点评：We booked an allegedly IKO accredited training for IKO level 3 kiteboarding with their Sanur Beach location. The school still advertises that they are IKO certified.
We booked four lessons and there was no wind and we waiting 10 days and then had to send the school a letter of demand because they initially did not want to refund the money for the remaining two lessons despite the contract being voidable as there was no wind. When we then requested partial IKO recognition level 2, we were told that they had to "do a video for the IKO" to fix their certification and there had been no wind. On contacting the International Kiteboard Organization, they advised us that the school's certification was suspended in May 2023 because of con-compliance. Given that May-Sep is high wind season in Bali, they would have had ample opportunity to fix the non-compliance. So they misled us again. No matter whether the instruction was safe and with care, the fact that the company holds themselves out that they can issue a certification when in fact there right to do so has been suspended for over 6 months is misleading and deceptive. This also influences insurances and liability. I would suggest to not engage with the school until they have (if at all) been re-accredited and look at the IKO website.
