Scam property, zero professionalism
Desert Wind Winery, Restaurant, Inn & Event Center的点评
点评：This property stole our money and refused to refund. Lied about communication and forced us to book at another hotel.
We booked through the Amex travel portal. We were traveling through the region on our way to Walla Walla for the weekend. This property looked nice and at no time through the booking process were we told of specifics regarding a hard check in time.
We arrived at the property at 830P to a closed sign.
We called the number on the website and were sent immediately to a voicemail saying they were closed and wouldn’t reopen until the next day at 11A.
We contacted Amex travel and they reached out confirming this.
We had to book another hotel and the closest was 45 mins away.
Assuming this was a misunderstanding, we reached out the next day and figured we’d simply get refunded for the night that was pre paid.
They only offered 50% back! Saying they sent an email regarding check in times.
There was never a message sent and they were lying about this.
The manager and hotel are a total scam. Never stay here.
The fact that there is NO ONE to answer phones overnight or at least a phone call to parties ensuring they understand check in policy should be standard.
Who has ever heard about no checking after 5PM?!?
The fact that they are digging in their heels and lying about communication is insane.
