点评:Really disappointed with the visit to this area. Also note Yaxchilan is closed and Bonampak unsafe due to narcos! Beware the locals now take advantage of tourists - 100 pesos for colectivo (20 locals), almost 1000 pesos for cabaña with no power or internet the night we stayed at Kayab and food very basic. The site of Toninà is now no longer accessible to visitors. Even the museum is closed. The site is on land owned privately and the owners won't allow anyone onto the site. They even have guards posted at the top of the pyramid to stop entry. Of course, no one in the area tells you this. We paid $300 to a local guide plus $100 tip to walk for almost an hour to the back of the top temple. Again no access to site just a view of the top temple from the forest. Total waste of time and effort!
