点评:Our goal for the day was to do some wine tasting and have a lunch, rather than snack at one of the wineries. After arriving at one winery that previously had a restaurant, we were disappointed to find that they no longer served meals. But they did suggest Artisans of Barossa. So glad they did! We were only looking for a light lunch, but the menu was fantastic. So we ended up ordering for entrees and side dish of greens. The waitress suggested having the cold entrees first. Great idea. The barramundi was divine, mushroom mousse with lentils amazing. We followed this up with kangaroo accompanied by bonito flakes, mustard and anchovies . The other hot dish was octopus with chorizo and kale. Side dish of greens. Everything was very well presented, with textures and flavours that complimented the ingredients in the dishes. We enjoyed the savoury meals so much we even ordered desserts! Rosewater pannacotta and lemon creme brulee. The quality of the whole meal was superb and worthy of a hatted restaurant. I have eaten in Michelin restaurants overseas, and this food was of a similar quality. Our only complaint? We found it on our last day in the Barossa region . We wanted to try more of the menu!
