Busy and crowded, but family friendly.

点评：We scheduled our tasting at the general store after our lunch, but it was still lunch time, so it was very busy. The parking lot was full, but we were able to park on the street not too far away. We were seated in a little room in the store and honestly felt forgotten at times. It took a while for our host to get to us, but she did a great job when she was present. Even though her visits were far between, she was very generous and took time answering questions- she seemed very knowledgeable about the history of Napa and the wine making process. The wines were good, but I didn't find any that I wanted to take home. The store had coffee and some souvenirs. Prices seemed reasonable and it was nice to have different options for the tasting. My 18 year old daughter was able to join us for the tasting. We didn't have time to look at the grounds much, and it was very crowded. Based on this experience, I wouldn't suggest for a group, but maybe would for a couple. There was a bar in the store that I believe doesn't require a reservation, so it would be worth a stop if you have extra time.
