Could be so much better, needs improvements

点评：We visited old down in July 25.
For three adults and one child it came to £56 with an extra £1 for animal feed.
First thing to note, this is not a full day out, it’s 2-3 hours at most. The animals are mostly farm animals although they do have some birds including a parrot. One thing to note is that I noticed so many animals weren't even locked in, for example they have a small area for rodents, which by the way you can hardly see anything in as there was no light in there, but two of the padlocks on the cages went even locked.
Some of the bigger animals didn’t have locks on the gates either, one enclosure I noticed was just tied shut with thin rope.
The place is extremely tired. Overgrown in lots of areas and cobwebs everywhere. Some animals were randomly just wondering around and we were unsure as to whether they should be.
The best bit is probably the kids play area although some of the equipment looked a little tired.
Adults were £15 each and children £10.50. Extortionate and absolutely no where near worth the price. If they priced it at adults £6-£8, and children £5-£6 then perhaps that wouldn’t be too bad, but honestly spend the extra money and go to wild place or a proper zoo.
