Perfect day trip from Nairobi

点评：We recently visited Kiambethu Farm on our final full day in Kenya, after being on a seven-day Safari with Sunworld Safaris. This day trip was the perfect end to our Kenyan holiday. As repeat visitors to Kenya, we usually try to do one or two cultural activities each trip, and the tea farm certainly didn’t disappoint. First of all, it is a nice drive – through pleasant green areas of the Nairobi suburbs (obviously years ago this was a long way from the city) and doesn’t take very long. The tour is informative, and the lunch is delicious. It was a real pleasure to meet Fiona and learn more about tea production and the history of tea in Kenya.
The gardens are captivating, and it was fun to spot so many different species of birds. We also had a walk in the indigenous forest and learnt about traditional medicine. Julius was a superb tour guide.
The whole tour and lunch is excellent value for money . Everything at lunch was extremely tasty. We only missed seeing the monkeys.
Highly recommend this tour and seeing this serene environment.
