点评：While visiting the island with a friend for the first time, we knew that we wanted to explore more than just the Seven Mile Beach area where we were staying. Upon discovering Joe Tourist Outdoor Adventure we quickly learned that we could design a day geared specifically to what we wanted to see and do, rather than joining a tour with a predetermined agenda. Gilbert was very easy to communicate with and he listened to our interests, preferences and must do stops; as well as what we did not want to do. Early into our personalized excursion, it was clear that Gilbert has extensive knowledge of Cayman as well as an abundance of passion and pride for his home. His relaxed island manner and good sense of humour made us feel very comfortable. The restaurant he took us to, as one of our stops, is situated in a stunning location featuring the gorgeous blue sea. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious meals and continuing our rich conversations. Gilbert was aware that we were flexible with our return time, and before heading to the last destination on our journey, something special happened. He added a stop. Because of his extraordinary familiarity with the island, he knew that a location close by would allow us to take in a breathtaking sunset which acted as a backdrop for many beautiful birds flying within their sanctuary. Although this location was not on our route, or within his original time commitment, Gilbert generously provided us with a spontaneous delicacy. I highly recommend contacting Gilbert if you are seeking a tour that’s unique to your interests and guided by an outstanding, informative, and easy going docent.
