Memorable family day excursion to Fathala Wildelife Reserve, Senegal

点评：My family and I did a one day tour to Fathala Game Reserve in Senegal from Gambia. We had an outstanding day and have nothing but the most positive feedback.
Our guide, ML, picked us up at 7 am in the van, and drove us to the ferry to cross the river. The ferry experience and journey is worth a trip on its own, it was fascinating.
Upon reaching the other side, a safari truck picked us all up and took us to the border. ML handles all the Gambian formalities and we didn't even have to leave the truck. The border itself is also a very interesting experience. The Senegalese side of the border formalities was efficient enough.
We got to Fathala and picked up our safari guide, who also went above and beyond to make sure we saw all the animals we could see, he was very knowledgeable and helpful. We finished with the lion walk which was an incredible experience.
On the way back, we stopped for lunch at a restaurant on the north side of the river before we hit the ferry. The food was great. ML made sure we stayed in the restaurant and the air conditioning as long as possible before hitting the ferry.
Once we crossed back over we were dropped at our hotel, the entire day was fantastic, I recommend Arch Tours 100%. I should also note their responsiveness on Whatsapp is excellent.
