Unforgettable honeymoon
Wintergreen Resort的点评
点评：My husband and I spent our honeymoon in a beautiful suite overlooking the Blue Ridge, which is more beautiful than I remember from my childhood. The suite was bright & clean; we appreciated the large bedroom and walk-in closet, cozy armchairs, multi-view deck, washer & dryer, and double bathing rooms. It was a little warm for us to fire up the fireplace, but it was just as cozy without one.
We were a little too tired and so cancelled our golf reservation, but it looked gorgeous.
The Edge restaurant was lovely, for breakfast and lunch, and our server was very friendly and knowledgeable. We were less impressed with the Devil’s Grill, but we weren’t particularly hungry so we couldn’t take full advantage of the menu. Dessert to go did not go to waste! Our server and the bartender were very accommodating when I put them on the spot for a Surprise-Me lemon-and-what-I-believe-to-be-coconut milk mocktail, which was delicious and should be on the menu.
My husband describes the entire experience at Wintergreen as “peaceful.”
