点评：We had the most breathtaking forest trek with Arniss Equestrian—exhilarating, grounding, and utterly unforgettable. Riding through the open spaces of the New Forest on horseback felt like stepping into something timeless and wild-hearted.
Our guide, Claire van Tonder, was exceptional: warm, insightful, and deeply attuned to both rider and horse. Her advice didn’t just improve our ride—it deepened our connection with the horses themselves. I rode Russell, and my daughter Phoebe had Harold—a grey with quite the iconic name, given Harold Godwinson’s fate and the birth of the New Forest!
Phoebe, who is neurodivergent, found the ride empowering and joyful, though she quietly shared that she’d have preferred it to be just the two of us. That’s something we’ll honour next time, as it really helped her regulate and enjoy the experience more fully.
This experience was more than a trek—it was a moment of clarity, connection, and wild-hearted joy. Thank you, Claire, and thank you to the Arniss team for making it possible.
