Geko Dive的点评
点评：I took 6 of the 15 paid dives. The dive master is very professional, the views and underwater life are beautiful. Food also fine.
Unfortunately, most of the divers did not take place because we become a victim to "cyber fraud" - as the base manager calls it. We are the third group that paid 100% of the fixed amount, we received confirmation of payment, and when we arrived at the base it turned out that they did not receive any money. First, Geko couldn’t find our email correspondence, then after typing correct address they found it (offer, payment data, only confirmation on their side „disappeared”…). There is no information on the Geko website warning that the mail has been hacked. It was also not reported by Geko to the police. Geko says that they are also injured, but it is our problem that they haven’t received our money. They did nothing to prevent customers from losing money or helping to recover it. We lost $350 per person (group of 7 person).
Update: after placing comments by our team in internet, we got information from Geko, that they will give our money back if we „take down the review”!
The equipment on the base is in a deplorable state: holey shoes and wet suits that have lost all insulation - now these are rags that should end up in the trash! Leaking cylinders and jamming inflators are simply dangerous. Diving with Geko through the used equipment is not safe.
Since Geko has not posted this information on its website, I write it here: beware of scammers, do not make payments in advance and take your diving equipment!
