Fantastic day and a Fantastic Park...... Carara National Park.

点评：My husband and I did a tour of Costa Rico and stayed at Crocs Resort and Casino in February. As Manual Antonio Park was sold out for the day we asked the Hotel desk for an alternative and signed up for a guided tour of Carara National Park instead.
We were picked up by bus and taken to the Park where we met our guide..Golanda.
Golanda asked us what we wanted to see and we proceeded on the tour of the park. She explained the fauna and the history of the Parkin detail. We would recommend asking for Golanda when you visit this wonderful Park. Its set in two parts, I think North and South, and be sure to visit both. Amazing trees and vegetation, a small brook where we saw a Kingfisher and so much more to see. We were the only two people in the group and we felt like she was our personal guide. We saw everything we wanted, McCaw, Toucan, Monkeys, Howler and white faced, and many other insects and birds. The big butterflies with the blue wings escorted us on some of our walk. It was magical. Golanda was finding everything and even spotted a sleeping Ghost Bat! She was amazing and nothing was missed. She was also very adept with taking photos on an iPhone, through her monocular. We got some amazing shots...
Carara park is must quieter than Manuel Antonio and we were very happy with our visit. Its a beautiful Park and so relaxing to walk around. Would heartily recommend a visit if you want a relaxing day and you wont have to deal the crowds.
