Fantastic day with Chris

点评：We recently returned from a 10 day trip to Switzerland, and it honestly felt like stepping into a postcard. The views were beyond believable. Nestled between snowcapped mountains and the shimmering waters of Lake Lucerne, the city is a near-perfect mix of natural beauty, and charm.
We had spent time hiking in the Berner Oberland area prior to our day with Chris. We had an amazing time closing out our last day by touring different areas that we likely would not have seen on our own.
We visited Kastanienbaum, a beautiful area with lake views and amazing landscape, Lungern, where we visited a chapel and lake, Brienz, where we stopped and walked around a beautiful waterfall, had coffee, explored the stunning lake and visited a beautiful street rated one of the most beautiful in all of Europe. We stopped in Horw for lunch and looked out onto the lake while enjoying our meal. We closed out the trip in Bergenstock where we had beautiful views of Lake Lucerne and enjoyed a scoop or two of gelato.
Chris was very knowledgeable and really took his time to listen and take us to places we plan to visit on our next trip. We were not set on an itinerary, and he was attentive to our conversation and ensured we had a great day.
Lucerne struck the perfect balance between being tourist-friendly and feeling authentic. It’s a place where you can wander aimlessly and still stumble into something beautiful or historically fascinating. I’d go back in a heartbeat — maybe next time in the winter to see it under a blanket of snow.
