点评：I can’t say enough good things about the people running this company. Let me start with a mistake I made – reserving the wrong date for my tours. The owner – Anak – called me and worked with me to find a way of rescheduling it without impacting my trip. I did two tours with them, with my two teenage daughters and their two best friends. The first tour was a snorkeling trip on a private boat to Punta Arena and other spots in the north west of Vieques. The captain’s name was Chui – an amazing and experienced sailor with great knowledge of the area, the waters, and the spots. We felt very safe under his guidance. Also – a guy with a very kind heart – he uses a pontoon boat not only because is comfortable for groups but because it allows him to give tours to people with disabilities. Respect!! Then there was our guide – Zayra. She was just a joy to be with. Very knowledgeable about the animals and the history of the island. Her passion for the sea and the sea life was contagious. Although you can never know exactly what you will be able to see, we got lucky – the spots she showed us helped us see 7 turtles, 2 sting rays, and many different type of fish. The night after we did the bio bay tour with Yadiel and Lioshuan. While the bio bay by itself is simply amazing, the guides made the experience even better with their stories about the area and the stars. All in all, the two tours we did with Salty Spirit made our holiday very special – not just because of the natural beauty we experienced, but the remarkable people that work for this company.
