VangVieng Paramotor Center & Pilot's Cafe的点评
点评：We enjoyed the flight experience but unfortunately did not get the service that was promised. We may have just been unlucky, and the company did listen to our feedback.
We chose Anthony's Paramotor Center due to the good reviews and focus on safety. It is a much more expensive company (around 1,750,000 kip per person) but promised safety briefings, pilots with good English, and taking off in a different place to other companies. However, it seemed that we flew with another company, and other people we met there had paid 1,000,000 kip for the same flight with the same pilots. There was no safety briefing. When we asked about this at the airfield, they did not understand our question. There was no introduction, no explanation of what to expect at take off or landing. We were ushered into the paramotors, strapped in and took off. At the end, we also had to wait a long time for a lift back to town and ended up sharing with another group.
We let the Paramotor Center know what happened. They were very good at listening to our feedback and were also confused as to why this happened. It was likely a one-off mistake or miscommunication somewhere. They made it clear they would look into it and try to prevent it happening again in the future. We were given a small refund but still feel we overpaid as even with the refund, we paid more than any other company we had come across.
Our tip for future travellers is to double check with Paramotor Center before booking what process they have put in place to prevent this from happening e.g. how are their customers identified as being different at the airfield to receive the level of service they promise. A suggestion would be to have ticket checks at the airfield (no one asked to see our ticket or proof that we had paid at any time).
