SAD DECLINE OF THE JINNY RING CRAFT CENTRE

点评：Wednesday 14th August 2024, My husband and I went to visit The Jinney Ring Craft Centre, we had not been there since we last visited some fourteen years ago.
Sadly, it has become very shabby and run down and in need of some tender loving care. The gardens are in need of tidying up and in parts are very overgrown. The craft units all look very dated and the items on offer look as if they have been there over a decade and not very inspiring.
The only place that seemed to be thriving was ‘The Chocolate Deli’, which makes hand-made chocolates and has been there since it started in 2006. We stepped inside and came out with goodies.
My husband brought me a selection of hand-made chocolates; (Kirsch Cherry, Violet Cream, Rum Truffle, Whisky & Honey Truffle, Strawberry & Champagne Truffle, Milk Truffle, Cherry Brandy Truffle, Praline Truffle and Dark Nut Trio Truffle) and a slice of chocolate orange nougat, which was really delicious.
Afterwards, we strolled back to the car park and drove back home to Birmingham, where later watching a film we indulged in wonderful cider and delicious chocolates.
We will not be visiting again.
