Museum of Classic Sci-Fi的点评
点评：My cousin and his partner had been up for a family wedding over the weekend and he’d always been meaning to visit the Museum of Classic Sci-Fi over in Allendale, so I suggested we both pop over with our respective partners and have make a bit of a day out about it.
Funnily enough I know the chap who owns and runs the Museum of Classic Sci-Fi in Allendale, but unfortunately we’d just missed him as he was away out with his family for the day, but his step-father was covering as museum custodian and gave us all an in-depth talk on the museum’s humble beginnings, what exhibitions the costumes and props had previously been displayed at before, before letting us go off to explore this little gem of a museum itself.
You certainly can’t miss this venue in the centre of Allendale as there’s a Police Box and Dalek kicking around outside.
An adult ticket will set you back a mere £7.50 to have a look around as you’ll soon discover a vast collection of very rare costumes and props from well known Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV and films from the 1960’s onwards, but I’ll name no names nor give no spoilers for any potential visitors and just say go, buy yourself a ticket and see for yourself and oh yes, enjoy!
