点评：Seawolf Park is worth hunting for—it's a true hidden gem! It's not easy to find, but there's lots to do at a reasonable price. This is a city park in Galveston. Unless you are a resident, you'll pay to enter the park area. The charge is nominal and well worth it. There's a nice playground and picnic area with great views of the inner bay and ship channel.
The real stars here are the classic US Navy ships- USS Stewart [ WWII escort] and the USS Cavalla [WWII Submarine]. You pay one small fee to enter both ships on a self-guided tour. The ships are air-conditioned and are under slow restoration. You are allowed entry to most areas of the ships. Well worth the time and $$. These ships were a hit with the grandkids --- there is much to climb, explore, and discover. A great way to spend an afternoon.
