Superb experience - highly recommend the private tour.

点评：I cannot begin to tell you how wonderful Ailsa was. This lady makes the world just a little more brighter just for being in it. We found out so much we did not know. For example - did you know why hens eat stones... no..I am not going to tell you.
To be able to go around the farm with one of the owners was just the most amazing experience ever. What a knowledgeable, friendly, amazing woman who radiates happiness. We have been in Arran since Monday and I can honestly say that today was the best day ever.
I am recovering from cancer and I wanted to find something we could do as a family which would not be too much but also give so much enjoyment. The amount we learned today was absolutely breathtaking. To meet the family was a bonus. Good luck to young Donald who makes his parents proud every day. I cannot thank the farm enough for opening it's doors and allowing our family and countless others to be a part of their farming lives and see a little glimpse of what they do every day. From Jock, to Hetty and the Goat who could not behave - we loved you all.
As an aside, we were told the animals preen themselves and keep themselves clean. However, I have to say that listening today, the family love those animals to bits and they are so well cared for and it shows.
I could go on for days and to be honest I felt as if I had known Ailsa for forever. Ailsa made the trip and experience for us. The amount we learned was superb. The children raved all the way to our holiday home that this was by far the best day we had.
I honestly cannot thank everyone enough as we need something to just give us a little lift and today - well today did just that .... THANK YOU xx
