点评：I was really looking forward to this trip with Andrew. He is a congenial guide with so much knowledge on his island. This expedition was wonderful. Andrew led us to a first White tailed eyrie where we got a first view of a magnificent bird sitting in a fir tree. From there we went on to an area from which we could see seals on a strip of land in the middle of the Loch. On we went to where we found a Golden Eagle's eyrie. No-one was at home. However our patience was rewarded when one stooped down into the nest and the other was sitting in a tree further down. Another White tailed eagle's eyrie followed where I saw the female pulling at some prey to feed it to her chick. A little later on an otter was spotted.... An area with a Hen Harrier nest unfortunately yield no bird... However the compensation was to be had further down the road where a short eared owl was spotted quartering grassy slopes. That was a bonus. Wildlife can elusive and one cannot expect to see everything however the result on this occasion was brilliant. Thank you Andrew.
