点评：We were going to visit the cafe on the grounds as we had visited once before. We decided to walk from Stourport which was quite a walk and as we’d been to the cafe before we thought we’d get a nice welcome. NO! DEFINITELY NOT! “Oi, you’re going the wrong way” so we changed direction and felt very intimidated by his very loud angry shouting “how would you like it if I was walking on your land” we definitely did not want to stop at the cafe and were very intimidated by this point and couldn’t quite make out how to get out quickly. We were shouted at again and luckily found our way out. Surely walking the road way out would have been better than walking thought the fields??? Then we saw the awful unwelcoming sign. That was not on the side we had entered otherwise we would not have entered the site that’s for sure!!! I am a very responsible dog owner and all people with dogs should not be tarnished with the same brush. I have always picked up my dog mess and we were very quiet walking past the fisherman. However the very angry male owner who clearly does not want any customers at all and only welcomes fisherman (which is a bit odd as surely he owns the cafe too with his wife??) was disturbing the fisherman with all of his shouting. It’s a shame as the cafe has a lovely Facebook page and had lovely food but I for sure will not be going again and will not recommend it to anyone. Awful experience. We will walk to the pub or the castle in hartlebury instead which is a shame. Their loss.
