点评:Morocco, just about the size of California offers an efficient rail system, so we decided to use it.
We were not disappointed.
We used the ONCF lines from Fez to Salé/Rabat and on to Marrakesh.
PROS
Railstation were interesting pieces of architecture, clean and easy to navigate.
Staff was friendly and competent.
Travel speed was up to better European standards.
Our midday trains were well booked, 1st was full but not crowded.
Our route was updated and modernized recently – again European standard.
All trains were absolutely ON TIME – better then most Central European ones.
CONS
Booking via ONCV page did not work for us so we went Railninja – double the price but easy to handle.
Rolling stock dated but clean, 1st comfortable for 2-4hrs.
Toilets at 1st stripped to the “basics” but clean until the end of the trips.
