Attractive boardwalk and beach, let down by the stone/pebbles when entering the sea

点评：We stayed at the Saint Nicolas hotel which has direct access to Spille Beach and actually has a private section of the beach with amazing sunbeds for hotel guests. The beach has a nice boardwalk full of bars and restaurants with a good atmosphere. It is easy to access.
The actual beach is a shingle base and entry into the sea is full of Peebles/stones which I didn’t enjoy as even wearing sea shoes the entrance/exit to the sea was difficult. I noticed that it wasn’t just us that seemed to find this difficult, most people were stumbling around.
Once on the sea the water was nice, but I am a sea/beach lover and the stones/peebly entrance did put me off this beach.
Also worth noting that this is a public beach, which in some ways good as there is no cost to access, for a tourist maybe not so great as there are no sunbeds or umbrellas for hire, so you have to provide your own, which can include buying them!
Overall nice, but if you are like me and like a little comfort on the beach it maybe wise to look at other options.
