I am extremely disappointed with my last rental experience with TOPRENTACAR. I am a VIP member and have rented Top Class vehicles many times , always paying a premium price and expecting premium service.
Unfortunately, this time the experience was far below acceptable standards. The car was delivered with old, worn-out windshield wipers, which were clearly unsafe. This happened during the winter season in Bulgaria, with rain and snow, making the situation even more dangerous.
What makes this even more frustrating is that I had the exact same complaint in the past, which I officially reported to the company. Despite this, the issue was not addressed or prevented from happening again.
When I contacted TOPRENTACAR by phone, I was told to go and replace the wipers myself and that the cost would be reimbursed. While this may sound like a solution, I strongly believe it is not the customer’s responsibility, especially not for a Top Class vehicle and certainly not for a VIP client. This is basic safety maintenance that should be checked and resolved before handing over the car.
This experience has seriously damaged my trust in TOPRENTACAR Bulgaria. Premium prices and VIP status should come with proper vehicle preparation, safety checks, and customer care — none of which were demonstrated in this case.
