点评：NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE!!
Whilst on holiday I came across this toffee shop and saw it sold my friend’s favourite sweets “floral gems” so I purchased a quarter at £2.50. Not the cheapest but hay ho!
When I got back to our hotel I decided to try a few as I love them myself. So I sprinkled a few on my hand and to my surprise they didn’t taste of anything. It’s as though they’d been in the jar for that long they’d lost their fragrance and taste.
I decided to take them back to the shop explain, to be met by a point blank refusal to either get a refund or even an offer of an alternative. They said they wouldn’t take them back as I may have poisoned them 😳 she then tried them to see if I was lying about the taste 😲
I did explain the the sweets weren’t fit for purpose and was a present for my friend but they weren’t interested whatsoever. I was then told that I had a bad attitude and wouldn’t entertain my dissatisfaction in their product.
I know it was only £2.50 but I thought the principle was more important.
So be WARNED and ask for a sample before you buy.
