点评:Visited in Sept - lots of nice items. Picked out some bits and bobs and left on the counter. Found some nice ceramic door knobs - in a box with lots of others labeled at £1 each - picked out 8 as they are vintage some chips and scuffs but perfect for us. When we went to pay a rather officious member of staff said £2 each, I pointed out the box said £1 each she replied - ‘no they are not. I know they are not it says £2 you are wrong they must be in the wrong box, I’m telling you they are £2’ I pointed out all the ceramic knobs were in one box that said £1. Instead of saying - ok let me just check she replied in a rather loud voice in front of other customers ‘No they are not I tell you’. Unfortunately due to her abrupt and unhelpful manner we left without purchasing any of the items which equated to approx £80. A bit of customer service training wouldn’t go a miss. Can your stall traders really afford to loose income because of a rude and unhelpful member of staff. Very disappointing and upsetting. Had she handled things differently and been more reasonable I would have paid the rate as quoted but she didn’t.
