点评:I've only got positive feedback for my particular journeys, however I'll write to Caledonian MacBrayne on a personal note on dog policies on board.
I travelled twice on two different routes this May. Eriskay to Lochmady, & Castlebay to Oban Both journeys were made so much easier by the extremely positive, helpful members of the on board crew and land staff. I'm an ambulatory powerchair user so travel can be daunting and create so much anxiety for me, I also travel with my trusty canine companion Minstrel. I didn't take my powerchair on deck I left it in my van due to being unsure of the layout, rules and obvious restrictions of ship design. On the Eriskay to Lochmady trip, the purser, sorry forget her name and Donald one of the hard working stewards went out of their way to make my journey so much easier, thank you. Much the same happened between Castlebay and Oban. Marion you're a star lady, my breakfast was made so much better by your little bit of kindness. In general from arriving at the ticketing booth to boarding, everything was made so much easier by the professional well trained helpful members of the CalMac team, all of whom had a very positive, friendly attitude. Thank you guys. I'm coming back in July, see you then hopefully 😁.
