Booked on cruise ship- needs an updated description with better details. Still a great tour though.

点评：We really enjoyed this tour although it was not what I was expecting at all. We took a mid day trip up to the summit and also stopped at rainbow falls for a short bit. We booked this through our cruise ship. So I’m not sure if the description is the cruise ship’s fault or the tour company’s, but it was so vague I had a completely different idea of what was going to happen. They also keep mentioning ATV’s in the descriptions- and we were in a van. Nothing exciting. The Rainbow falls part of the trip could be left out. The views and learning about the geology and satellites were very cool. The experience of going all the way to the top was great also. Wish we could have timed up a star gazing tour but we weren’t there overnight. The description also didn’t mention the cold or altitude when we booked it. So we were scrambling on the ship to find pants and long sleeves shirts for the whole family when we were told on our tickets to prepare for cold. Luckily it was June and sunny at the summit so we weren’t scrambling fine in shorts and t shirts or a light sweatshirt. The tour guide did have heavy jackets with, but never offered them since it wasn’t needed. Overall glad we did it- even though it’s not what I thought.
