Couldn't figure out how to get down to the beach, but still 100% worth the effort

点评：We drove two hours early one morning to reach this beach at low tide, and even though we never made it all the way down to the sand, it was absolutely worth the effort. The scenery is jaw-dropping—easily some of the most stunning coastal views we’ve ever seen.
We arrived around 9 a.m. and had the trails completely to ourselves. I had done quite a bit of research beforehand to figure out the best route, and I’m glad I did—it gave me more confidence in navigating the trails. The Thunder Rock Cove approach worked well for us. That said, these trails can be treacherous in places, and there are steep drop-offs, so caution is a must.
We’re two teens and two average, non-athlete parents, and we had no problem managing the hike. Along the way, there are several breathtaking viewpoints—you’ll catch glimpses of multiple beaches from different angles. Even without making it to the beach itself, the experience was unforgettable.
