Incredible location, wonderful food, superb dive operations.
Blue Lagoon Beach的点评
点评：The Blue Lagoon Resort is on an incredible beach with out of this world views with a great staff and some of the best food in Fiji. The dive shop is staffed by 2 great divemasters Manny and Johnny. My girlfriend finished her advanced open water with Manny and he was awesome. He really restored he confidence after a less than stellar experience at Barefoot Manta. Dedicated dive boat, great equipment from what I saw it was all new and well maintained. Great dives!
2 things they could change.
1 get rid of that horrible inflatable slide. It is hardly used and it is a complete eyesore on a breathtaking view, it almost ruins it. Boats naturally have to be in your view but a giant inflatable slide sitting in the middle of every picture is horrendous.
2. The snorkling off the beach is wonderful and can rival many dives but I think the resort could do a lot more to educate guests on proper protocol with the reef. A lot of people were standing on live coral, breaking it off and damaging the reef. It truly is a great reef with abundant life between 1-5 meters but it isn't going to stay that way with a lot of the behaviors I saw from guests. Perhaps require an orientation snorkel for people just arriving. Hard corals grow slowly, a misplaced fin can kill years of growth in an instant.
Overall Blue Lagoon is almost perfect for the price. Those 2 tweaks would make it so. The food is remarkably good for its remote location and the price.
