Fortifications of Quebec National Historic Site的点评
点评：This time we didn’t go inside La Citadelle because we had already been there, but took a gorgeous wall walk into the direction of Chateau de Frontenac instead. That’s the best way to enjoy spectacular views of the St.Lawrence River and the Chateau from all angles. It was 10am when we were passing by La Citadelle gates: the changing of the guard time. In the past, we had been lucky to see the guards with Batisse the goat, the mascot of the Royal 22e Régiment, who was in attendance in his full dress uniform. This time Batisse was on leave most likely and didn’t bless us with his presence. 😊
After countless pictures, we took the stairs down to Terrace Dufferin for more views. We also went to the lobby of Chateau de Frontenac to see its beautiful interior and browse in the boutiques.
