Gamboa Sloth Sanctuary的点评
点评：Gamboa rainforest reserve, great location for all nature types. The sloth sanctuary was a disappointment in so many ways, you do not see the sloths in their natural environment. I did the sloth sanctuary, thinking it would be a great tour to see them. The "tour" only goes for 45 minutes this is the order that it was done on the day 1) saw 1 sloth in an enclosure. 2) next door was a tortoise 3) frog enclosure slightly interesting 4) orchids garden none in flower very small area 5) small butterfly enclosure. Then last of the tour we saw 4 sloths on show for purely for photos. As we know sloths sleep 15 hours so they were comfortably snoozing.
These sloths should of been in the jungle in a natural environment, large enclosure for them to enjoy. With all the money tourists pay to see this, it appears not to be going to sanctuary for the sloths.
