点评：You never know how a recommendation from a friend of a friend will go; however, this recommendation was a hit!
We wandered in to Bobby Gin after an amazing dinner, and in typical American fashion we were practically the first ones there (it was about 10pm...the Spaniards were just starting dinner apparently, lol). It gave us a great chance to look around and chat up the bartender. It's a cute pub like establishment with over 80 gins. And truth be told, they did fill up around 10:30. We sat at the bar and enjoyed a Nordes Ginfonk and Basil Smash. At an average of 11-13 euros per drink, the prices are amazing considering we'd pay anywhere between $20-25 per drink in the US.
The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive and even indulged my basic attempt at speaking high school Spanish. We had a great experience and returned again two nights later where, Javier, bartender extraordinaire, remembered us and welcomed us like old friends. I asked him on this night to make a drink of his choice and gave him a few flavors I enjoy and he created a delicious, but seemingly dangerous drink called "Last Words." Although, it definitely was my last drink of the night, I did survive to write these praiseworthy words.
I wish there was a spot like this near me, because I would be there often. God Save Bobby Gin!
