Fly Fishing Experience of a Lifetime!

点评：I booked a fly fishing trip with Aaron and Rachel at Long Drift Outfitters and my guide was Jim Reynolds. It was my first time fly fishing and I was so happy that Jim was so patient with me. He had so many awesome tips to help me with casting techniques, where and when to drop my line in the water, and how to mend my line.
In no time at all, I was getting hits all over the river and even hooked up the biggest rainbow trout I've ever had on a line in my life! It was 18" and I was so stunned to see it right at the boat, I let my line slack and back in the river it went! With a bit more coaching about keeping my line tight, Jim showed me how I could land my next beautiful Rainbow, and I did!
Jim's knowledge of the Kootenai River was vast and he knew every nook and cranny of the river. He provided a very nice lunch on the shore, where we were both surprised by hundreds of the most beautiful swallowtail butterflies fluttering nearby. What an amazing day it was!
For me, this was an item on my bucket list and I couldn't have asked for a more rewarding experience!
