点评：We went with friends and our 2 children for the Christmas special.
So glad we decided to cross the border. Was a memorable experience. The carriages had all been decorated with a theme in each. We were in the traditional carriage. There was candy cane, gingerbread and grinch. Santa and his elves were amazing and gave the children their gifts on the train. When booking we were able to choose which gift for the kids which was really appreciated so we didn't end up with the rubbish that a lot of places gift. As the gifts were individually labelled it amazed our kids that santa knew them by name. We got to sing carols with the elves. There was even free refreshments, hot and cold drinks, cakes and mince pies. All the staff and volunteers were spectacular and were so jovial. The decorations everywhere were so beautiful. Would we go again!! Oh yes!!!! Definitely booking for this year. Thank you so much South Tynedale Railway for such a splendid time.
