点评：After moving over the border into England we decided to return after enjoying the Christmas event. Booked for the Fathers Day steam experience with afternoon tea. So glad we did. Thoroughly enjoyed riding the train with the steam engine Naklo running. There's just something special riding the steam trains, the smoke, the smells, the sounds so very evocative of times gone by.
Had glorious sunshine whilst enjoying the views.
The afternoon teas in a box to enjoy aboard the train were scrumptious, fresh, tasty and gorgeous homemade scones.
Would be nice to be able to book the teas for special days ie, birthday, anniversary.
The staff and volunteers on the rails, the cafe, the shop, the buffet car, the icecream parlour were amazing. So friendly and knowledgeable. They all put on a good show considering how hot and busy it's been.
Enjoyed delicious Jersey milk icecream at Slaggyford, raspberry pavlova mmmm, just £3 for a scoop in a tub, great value for proper Jersey icecream. Just rounded the experience off nicely. Cannot wait to attend the Railway Gala in July with the kids and grandparents.
