Peaceful, magical, historical spot.
St. Patrick's Well的点评
点评：We happened upon this by chance during a 2-week visit of Ireland in 2019 and it ended up being one of the highlights of the entire trip. In March, 2025, we came with a daughter and wanted her to experience the same peace, serenity, and beauty of this magical spot. Unlike the 2019 visit, we did not remove our shoes and socks to make the rather painful sacrifice walking out to the ancient Celtic cross in the middle of the spring. Be sure to do that at least once, though, because it is a very meaningful experience.
Much to our delight, the same soft-spoken and kind caretaker, David, was on hand once again to talk to us about the well and its history. He is a true Irish gem, and if you are lucky, he will be here when you arrive to enthrall you with the story of this historic well. God bless David and all those who visit this spring.
