点评：We stayed in the Wheelwright’s Shop on the Estate for a little romantic getaway.
We have previously stayed at The Chapel which is gorgeous but a bit of a trek in inclement weather with bags and dogs so we thought we would try somewhere closer to the main drive.
I have seen other reviews. Yes the decor is a bit battered but that is part of the charm. Yes there are cobwebs and spiders but you are in an old building in woods.
The kitchen and bathroom were clean and that’s what matters.
We have 2 dogs and they loved every minute we were there.
The only downside for us, yet again was the bed. We woke up every morning with debilitating back ache. There was no support from the bed or the mattress. In the end we left a day early because of the lack of sleep.
It was such a shame as we had been so looking forward to this break from work.
