A lone adult’s perspective
科茨沃尔德农场公园的点评
点评：I was worried this place would just be appealing to families with kids but so enjoyed my visit as a lone adult. I thought the entry cost was incredibly good value. I spent the morning photographing the animals which all seemed happy and well cared for - it’s great to be able get so close to them and worth paying the extra for a bag of animal food to encourage them to interact with you. My favourites were the baby donkeys and tiny piglets. There is no pressure to spend extra money in the cafe area here - there’s even an indoor picnicking area for inclement weather. I chose to have my picnic on the edge of the overflow carpark with a view of the countryside. In the afternoon I did the 2 mile circular walk round the farm which was incredibly peaceful. It was very clearly marked, with information boards on the nature and farming techniques and some spectacular views. The highlight for me was gorse valley where the scrub was alive with birds and I came face to face with a muntjac deer. The only thing that would have improved it would have been a bench here and there along the way. All in all I would highly recommend a trip here for adults or children.
