King James V1 Golf Course的点评
点评：You may have seen this unique golf course when crossing Friarton Bridge over the River Tay.
The course is set on an island in the middle of mighty River Tay, access is gained using a foot bridge from South Inch or Norrie Miller Car Parks which runs adjacent to the railway line that crosses the River Tay.
You would never know you have walked from Perth City Centre as you may see otters, beavers and kingfishers as you cross the bridge.
Arriving at the course the staff will make you feel welcome and are happy to help, the course is on the level and not a long walk (electric buggies and trolleys are available to hire) and with so many species of trees to admire you could be excused from thinking you are in the grounds of a stately country house.
From a golfing point of view the course is very playable for all, the greens have subtle undulations that even have the members scratching their heads. The course is in great condition and offers fantastic value for money given that it offers so much more in addition to a round of golf, they even have their own cider made from apples harvested from trees on the course.
If you’re looking for a unique experience then King James V1 Golf Club is well worth a visit.
