Yelapa Beach的点评
点评：Yelapa is an amazingly beautiful little village just south of Puerto Vallarta. It is only accessible by boat or water taxi. There are no roads just small cobblestone paths and concrete paths just wider than an ATV. The only transportation in Yelapa is by quad, motorbikes, or horse. It is a beautiful little village with paths that wide through like a maze with horses, ATV’s and people walking sharing the pathways. There is a short hike to the waterfall that is gorgeous. If you are fit and up for a had hike you can hike to the upper falls. The trail is not marked and is very rough and rugged almost straight up for the most part about 15 -20 minutes, but the view from the upper pool is second to none and worth the hike.
I recommend getting off the water taxi at second stop at the peer in town and hike up to falls first and to these upper falls if you are able. Stop along the way for an amazing drink at the Michelada stand or get a bite to eat at one of the local food vendors. After the falls hike back down to the beach where you can swim and play in the beautiful ocean and enjoy a relaxing time at one of the beach chairs and get some food and drinks.
To catch the water taxi back to Boca you will need to go to the peer at the far North end of the beach. The water taxi runs every hour until around 6 pm, but it can be a little crazy as there seems to be nobody that actually works there and it is just first come first serve, and is a little confusing but they are good about getting as many people on the boats as possible just make sure you are there a little early to be sure.
