点评：We went to a performance of Under Milk Wood at Wayfarers in conjunction with SAM studios last night, Sat 9th Nov, at a cost of £11.55 per ticket, and the whole event was ruined by lack of foresight and organisation on the part of the event promoters. The sound system was so bad you could barely hear the players, at most you could pick out the odd word, and it kept giving out 3 intermittent booming noises tp add to the difficulty in hearing. Did they not do a sound check? Also, there was no heating whatsoever, it was absolutely freezing, to the point where one of our party, who is 90 years old, became quite poorly, with a thorough chilling bordering on hypothermia, and we had to take him home, though frankly we were glad to leave! I felt sorry for the players, though, from what little we could hear it sounded like they were doing a fine job of the reading, but completely spoiled by the sound quality and the cold! There should at least have been an intermission where we could get a hot drink at the little cafe near the entrance, which had stayed open, with very little business, but were extremely kind in providing warmth and a hot drink to our poorly friend. A complete shambles and a waste of money!
